Maria + Jose | Wedding | The Lake Club | Staten Island, NY

Our first wedding in Staten Island:)

Maria and Jose celebrated their love with 50 of their family members and closest friends. Thanks to that their wedding felt very much like a family celebration where everyone knows each other and kids get to run wild:)We had a great time with the whole family and even the wildlife that came to visit:)The lake has a large number of surprisingly big turtles and there is a whole family of raccoons that live nearby:)

Maria & Jose  - Thank you for being so wonderful!  We loved sharing your day with you and hope you are enjoying your much deserved beach time;)!!!

Stephanie + Larry | Engagement | Meatpacking District, NYC

A few shots from a recent engagement shoot for Stephanie and Larry.  We started in the West Village (that really strange part of manhattan where west 4th  crosses west 11th:)– how did they plan it??:)) and then moved to the Meatpacking district. The guys were really fun and easy going and I think Stephanie was a bit surprised that Larry actually enjoyed the modeling experience:)

Yelena + Patrick | Wedding | Midtown Loft & Terrace , NYC

Yelena and Patrick win the “Best Bridal Party” Award:)!!!  Not only did we have over an hour allotted to photographing the entire gang, but everyone was exceptionally nice, fun and willing to do anything we asked them to – even including riding the Merry-Go-Round ;)…  Those who know us can vouch that we are up for anything, so it was great to meet our kind of people who are always ready for an adventure:)!  Oh – and every single one of this bunch followed directions really well, which is fairly rare in a larger bridal party:)  (Can anyone tell we had a great time with these folks by the amount of smileys:)!)

There was rain predicted (surprise!), so Yelena & Patrick even planned ahead by getting matching Yellow Umbrellas – yellow being one of their wedding colors and we did get a little rain during the photo time, though overall we got really lucky, since only  20 minutes before the start of the rooftop ceremony was when the rain decided to really make its appearance and poured so hard I thought we were in the tropics!!

Yelena & Patrick – you guys ROCK!  We know you spend lots of time and effort planning your special day.  The love and care you put into every step really showed and of course, most of all we are really grateful that you made sure we had plenty of time to capture everything.  Natalia and I loved meeting you, your wonderful family and friends.  We had a blast and we really hope the photos show that!  Hope you like them as much as we do:).

Madelyn + Mark | Engagement | Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, NYC

A few shots from Madelyn and Mark’s engagement shoot from couple of weeks ago. Yet again, the weather behaved!!!  There has been a lot of rain predictions on days I have engagement shoots lately, but this time except for a short, tiny drizzle the weather was beautiful.
I love how anytime these two are looking at each other they get these huge happy smiles!!:)– hope that it stays that way always:)
