Bekah | Maternity | NYC

This was a very fun shoot! Bekah is beautiful inside and out, and absolutely glowing with new life. The fact that she is a yoga instructor and is very active despite the impressive tummy also helps:).  We did the photo-shoot at her parents home in NJ, which allowed me to grab some shots with her mom.  I thought it was extremely cute how Bekah’s mom very curiously watched all the proceedings and kept offering to help when I struggled with a reflector or some other piece of photo gear:)

Could not decide if I like this better in color or black and white – what do you think?

Nodari - Color. Defintely color :)

Jen+Ron | Engagement | Princeton, NJ

Jen and Ron both grew up not far from Princeton. So, even though they’ve moved to NYC since then, when the time came to pick the location for their wedding, they chose Princeton. This was my first time there and I want to thank you guys for introducing me to this beautiful and unique town – I absolutely loved it.  Ron gets extra brownie points for wearing a tie on a record-breaking hundred-and-five degree day – his shirt got soaked in minutes:).  Jen gets extra brownie points for looking cool and elegant while us two guys were huffing and puffing around her:).  And I get brownie points for throwing the guys into the public fountain to cool off;).

Ron and Jen – thank you again for showing me Princeton – hope you enjoyed the shoot as much as I did!  Natalia and I are excited to go back there for your wedding in a few weeks.

Sarah - Really beautiful, intriguing, and dare-I-say sexy shots in this one! Love the black&white of them with the light coming through a window (?), and of them through the fire escape steps. Nice work!

Fuzaylov Family | NY Portrait Photography

Every photographer loves the golden light toward the end of a day.  Michael and his beautiful ladies didn’t really need any help looking fantastic, but nature couldn’t resist.  By the time Michael got home from work, the light was glorious but we had to make sure to take advantage of it quickly before the coveted “golden hour” left us.  The beautiful backyard proved to be a perfect backdrop, as well as other nearby locations.

I have known Michael and his eldest daughter for a while now and have photographed the stunning jewelry for his Michael F Diamonds store on 47th street in Manhattan.  Getting to meet the entire family this time, along with their beautiful home and property was a real treat.  Being able to photograph such an incredibly good looking family was even better and should almost be outlawed:).  But luckily for us….. it’s not!  Natalia was especially excited to be around such style, because she is a fashion junkie and this group certainly didn’t disappoint.  We love clients who put so much thought and care into their photo session!

After the sun went down, we took some more formal shots in the living room and a few fun shots downstairs in the basement, which houses a fantastic bar and entertainment room.  As if this was all not enough, Natalia and I were treated to a fantastic family dinner and drinks on the outside porch.  Who is jealous;)?!

Michael and Sveta – We can’t thank you enough for allowing us to “invade” your home with all our photo gear and for your incredible hospitality.  It truly was such a pleasure to meet your family, see your beautiful home and spend an evening capturing your love and beauty.  We hope you enjoy the photos!

I think Elina looks especially stunning in the photo below !!

E+S Squared | Maternity | Beacon, NY

I am one of those people that finds pregnant women stunningly beautiful and special. There is something extraordinary and unique in the way a pregnant woman looks, its like an extra little glow that spills out into the world. Maybe its just the potential of all the things that a future child carries within… I also love the interaction of the couple as it has that extra level of tenderness, love and care that normally is reserved for private moments.

Exactly two weeks ago, we drove out to Beacon, NY to spend some wonderful time with not just one pregnant Emily, but two!  You might remember Emily & Shir from their wedding back in May.  Well, it just so happens that we met Emily & Simon at the wedding of Emily & Shir – sounds funny – but I could not resist:)We have E+S squared:)

It was so nice to get out of the city for a few hours and have some laugh-out-loud fun, some yummy pizza and get to take my new California SunBounce reflector for a ride:).  We all got lucky with some gorgeous sunset light and once the sun went down had more fun at Emily + Shir’s home.   The end result was a varied group of images that we hope you enjoy as much as we do.  Can’t wait to hear what you think…
