My Name is Alex Fedorov and I am a photographer in NYC...
To me photography is about connection to the subject, about ability to see something special and wonderful and about interaction of the subject and light - the best photos are those that bring two of those aspects together.

When I photograph a wedding my main goal is to tell a story. Story that will capture the joy, happiness and feeling of that special day in a beautiful, heartfelt images. I always feel blessed that I get to be a part of such celebration.

Natalya + Yan | Wedding | The Hammond Museum, North Salem, NY

Natalya and Yan got married on a beautiful, breezy summer day – in an island (sort of ) ceremony

This was our second wedding at The Hammond Museum and while the bull frogs were not in the singing mood this time, the rest was just as beautiful and serene as the last time we were here.

Natalya and Yan are incredibly smart, warm and joyful people and their family and friends are made from the same cloth, which made for a beautiful day all around! Plus, we had some dancers on the dance floor that were probably still in diapers, but certainly knew how to boogie, and that always makes our day!!! Roisin + Nick | Engagement | Red Hook | Brooklyn

This was my first time exploring Red Hook – which proved to be a vibrant and interesting neighborhood and the perfect backdrop for an engagement session. Barbara + Mike | Wedding | La Roue Elayne at Cobb’s Mill Inn | CT

Boby and Mike got married on a beautiful spring day at a fun, quirky and very welcoming venue – Cobb’s Mill Inn in Connecticut.

What can I say – Boby looked stunning on her wedding day – the dress perfectly complimented and showcased her beautiful figure and there was definitely a seal of approval from Mike

Barbara’s parents were celebrating their 35th anniversary on the same day, so I am sure for Barbara her wedding day was extra amazing and special!!!

Barbara’s grandma gave a beautiful speech in Russian about love – and it was translated on the fly by Boby’s best friend

The toasts were priceless and very,very funny.

There was even a mathematical theorem built to prove that this wedding was meant to happen

Emily + Mike Portraits

Since the timeline on the wedding day of Emily and Mike did not allow ample time for enough portraits, the guys decided to do a separate portrait session after they returned from their honeymoonSo here are a few shots from that session at the Liberty State Park
