Last week Kiki & Ike came up to New York City from Maryland for their engagement shoot. It was wonderful to finally meet them in person and spend some time getting know them. Kiki & Ike are incredibly sweet, easy going and handled my demands of “making out” in public quite well – I totally think that I was justified and the results are well worth it
!
Despite the early blooms this year, we still managed to find some beautiful spring flowers at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and I loved how Kiki’s sweater added an extra burst of color to the shots. The guys are both from Nigeria and I am really excited to be photographing their wedding in a few months and getting to know more about Nigerian culture and traditions.
